Fitness Levels:
Intermediate Advanced

Each Fitdeck card has a suggested number of repetitions or time (in seconds) for each exercise. These numbers represent estimates for three fitness levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

These numbers are guidelines and should be used as a starting point when doing your Fitdeck workout. Use the numbers as a way to quickly assess your relative strengths/weaknesses as well as an efficient tool to track your improvement.

Beginners

As a Beginner, start off slowly with the Fitdeck cards. Even if you do one card a day, you are developing a great fitness habit that will serve you well.

In fact, drawing one card every day for 50 days is a great starting point. By the end of 50 days, you will have sampled every Fitdeck exercise. On the days when you are more motivated – do three cards. The key here is consistency. If all else fails, try to do at least one card a day.

As a beginner, there may be a few exercises you cannot do at first. If this is the case, just leave the card out of the deck until you get stronger and more confident.

Intermediate

As an Intermediate, you will have a wide range of workout options with Fitdeck. Depending on your time availability and particular fitness goals, an Intermediate user may choose to draw and perform 12 cards 3X per week in the beginning.

Again, consistency rules the day with Fitdeck. If you hit a particularly busy time in your life, scale back to 5 cards x 3 per week.

Fitdeck wants to help you develop a strong habit of doing something every day (even if it’s just one card) rather than nothing.

Advanced

As an Advanced user, you will have the widest range of Fitdeck workout options. Depending on your time availability and particular fitness goals, an Advanced user may set their sights on performing 20 cards every other day in the beginning.

Again, consistency rules the day with Fitdeck. If you hit a particularly busy time in your life, we would rather see you go from 20 cards every other day to 5 cards a day -- rather than to stop altogether.

Fitdeck aims to help you develop a strong habit of doing something every day (even if it’s just 5 cards) rather than nothing.
